BITCOIN HASHPOINT
STRC Closes $1.36 From Par Ahead of Today's 8-K

The Hashpoint for September 14, 2026

Bitcoin Hashpoint, September 14, 2026

STRC closed Friday at $98.64, $1.36 under par, and that is the closest the preferred has finished to $100 in the September series. Bitcoin trades at $77,818 this Monday morning, up 0.79% in 24 hours and down 2.10% on the week. Against the power-law bands carried from Sunday's dashboard read, a $63,658 floor and a $151,567 median, price sits at 1.22 times the floor and 0.51 times the median. The 10-year yield opened the week at 4.96% after a 4.92% Friday close. The spring holds the same position it held Sunday; the coupon gap under it narrowed by 67 cents while the yield that stretches it stayed within four basis points of 5%.

STRC closed Friday at $98.64, up 0.68%, for a 12.17%

effective yield on the 12.00% coupon that holds until October 1.

Yahoo Finance prints the September 11 close at $98.64, up $0.67 on the session, with a day range of $97.96 to $98.69. That corrects the $97.83 figure the weekend editions carried; TradingView served a stale print, and the Thursday close on StockAnalysis, $97.97, confirms the sequence. A buyer at $98.64 collects 12.17% on the fixed 12.00% coupon. Parameter.io dates the preferred's rise at 38% from its June 26 low of $71, and MSTR common gained 5.1% Friday to $135.17 on the same move.

What moved STRC was the buyer of last resort. The September 8 filing showed $176.3 million spent on 1,810,885 STRC shares in the week to September 7, at roughly $97.36 each, with $1.19 billion left under a program Strategy doubled to $2 billion. Hashpoint's own analysis holds that a preferred whose coupon can only reset on the first of the month needs some other bid in the 30 days between; for now that bid is Strategy's own cash, $1.44 billion of it at the September 7 mark.

The 10-year stands at 4.96% this

morning after a 4.92% Friday close, the 30-year at 5.36%, and DXY at 99.56.

Trading Economics puts the 10-year at 4.96% Monday morning, down one basis point on the day, after Friday's 4.92% close. The 30-year closed Friday at 5.36%. The 10-year TIPS real yield rose to 2.58% on September 11, up from 2.55% on the H.15 table for September 10 and from 2.43% one week earlier. That 15 basis point rise in real yields over five sessions is the number that competes directly with a 12.17% preferred and a zero-yield coin. The dollar index rose 0.44% overnight to 99.56, its first move of size since the yield run began.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $13.3

million Friday, the fourth straight outflow day, for a four-session deficit of $462.7 million.

Friday's tape closed at $13.3 million out, per TFTC's Farside mirror. IBIT gave up $19.2 million; MSBT took in $3.8 million and HODL $2.2 million; every other fund printed zero. The four-day run from September 8 through 11 sums to $462.7 million out, with ARKB accounting for $242.3 million of it by Bitcoin News Digest's tally. The Rio Times calls it the heaviest weekly withdrawal in about ten weeks and the end of a three-week inflow streak. The dashboard's supply pressure ratio went unread this morning; Sunday's print was 3.39, and Friday's flows do not move a 30-day numerator by much.

Strategy holds 845,050 BTC at a $75,412

average cost; today's 8-K shows if a second straight week went to STRC buybacks instead of coins.

No Strategy filing had arrived by 6:30 AM Eastern. Holdings stand at 845,050 BTC on an aggregate cost of $63.73 billion, $75,412 per coin, per the September 8 8-K. TFTC calls the filing due today the most informative in weeks: it covers the week the 10-year touched 4.99%, the week STRC's buyback bid ran at nine figures, and the week the cash cushion either held or thinned. Two consecutive weeks of zero coins would put the throttle on the balance sheet itself. Elsewhere in the treasury column, Strive bought 1,375 BTC for $109 million at $79,281 average, lifting its stack to 24,531 BTC.

The Hashpoint dashboard did not answer this morning's fetch, so today's bands carry from Sunday's live read: floor $63,658, median $151,567, ceiling $454,701. Price moved $611 against Sunday's $77,207. The floor multiple ticked from 1.21 to 1.22 on price alone. Sunday's overnight low printed $76,838 by the Rio Times read, and this morning's Cryptonomist read has resistance at $78,392 with the 20-day average at $77,097. The weekly candle closed near $77,320 by Bitcoin News Digest's count, $2,300 under the 50-week average at $79,668, a second straight down week.

CoinWarz's live estimate reads 866 EH/s at block 966,946 this morning, down from the 955 EH/s spot read on Sunday; single-day hashrate estimates swing with block luck. The retarget estimate for September 19 eased to +3.09%, or 131.39 trillion, from +3.54% on Sunday, with 734 blocks to go and the cycle averaging 9 minutes 42 seconds per block. The week's calendar

Kiplinger lists no economic releases for Monday. The Senate holds its CLARITY Act cloture vote Tuesday at 2:15 PM ET, needing 60. The FOMC statement and projections come Wednesday at 2:00 PM ET, with Chair Warsh at 2:30; the Rio Times puts hike odds near 90%, UseTheBitcoin at 87%. A 25 basis point move takes the target range to 3.75% to 4.00%. Retail sales print Wednesday at 8:30. Governor Bowman speaks Friday at 9:30, the first Fed voice after the blackout. None of it can touch STRC's coupon before October 1.

The Hashpoint read

daily synthesis panel
Price at 1.22 times the floor and 0.51 times the

median, STRC at $98.64, the 10-year at 4.96%, and the 8-K due today.

Price sits at 1.22 times the power-law floor and 0.51 times the median on carried bands. STRC is $1.36 under par with 17 days of coupon lock left. The 10-year is 4.96% and the real yield 2.58%. ETF desks have sold four straight days. The spring gained 67 cents of slack at the preferred and none at the bond.

The next confirming data point is today's 8-K: zero Bitcoin for a second week, with another nine-figure STRC buyback, confirms that the coupon lag throttles accumulation at the source and that Strategy's cash, not the market, holds the preferred near par. The next disconfirming one is a STRC close at $100.00 or better before Wednesday's statement, which reopens the ATM on the market's bid rather than the company's.
